The Region Dents du Midi, located within the Portes du Soleil international area, is renowned for the high quality of its bike park and its many downhill trails. The "World Cup" track in Champéry is arguably the most famous for its demanding technical features.
From September 2 to 7, 2025, this track will offer a true challenge to downhill athletes with its steep sections, roots, jumps, and tight turns. Having already hosted the world’s top riders during international competitions, it promises to deliver another spectacular show in 2025.
The fastest and most exciting cycling format ever devised, downhill offers an elemental draw; fastest to the bottom against the clock wins! Racers prepare bikes, bodies and brains to deal with physics-bending speeds down the side of mountain pistes.
I’m excited to experience these World Championships on the magnificent and legendary track of Champéry. It will be my second race here after the 2024 European Championships, and it promises to be magical at home!
Camille Balanche / Swiss athlete and event ambassador
It is a true pleasure to see the elite of downhill mountain biking return to Champéry on the legendary World Cup track. While the comeback of these events brings back many memories, the entire region is already looking forward to creating new ones!
Jacques Berra / Mayor of Champéry
What a privilege it is for the beautiful Region Dents du Midi, and the host resort of Champéry in particular, to host the top names in downhill mountain biking for the UCI World Championships 2025.
