For the first time, the 7 Mountain Bike disciplines will be combined in a single 2-week event from August 30 to September 14, 2025, with 8 Valais host destinations joining forces. An experience that is already set to be unique and captivating for everyone involved.
With passion and by joining forces with the host destinations, the Valais 2025 organizing committee is committed to creating a major international sporting event that inspires and promotes cycling and mountain biking to a wide audience. By also focusing on sustainability and accessibility, the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships 2025 in Valais aims to become a new benchmark in terms of the organization of events of this type.
The implementation and development of actions aimed at leaving a strong and lasting legacy are at the heart of our vision. Based on two pillars, the strategy aims to bring together dynamic players to promote a sport that is the lifeblood of the Canton, and to make Valais a benchmark region on the world's Mountain Bike scene.
Swiss Cycling, Valais Wallis Promotion, the Fédération Cycliste Valaisanne and the local organizing committees of the destinations combine their know-how, skills and resources as members of the Association for the organization of the 2025 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships.
