Overview
The Grand Raid BCVS is renowned as one of the most difficult mountain bike races in the Alps. With 125km and over 5,000m of ascent, the demanding course takes athletes from Verbier to Grimentz via the mythical Pas de Lona, the highest point on the route (2,800m). The event attracts an average of 2,000 participants and almost 10,000 spectators.
For the more popular riders, there are three other departures to choose from: Nendaz (93km) - Hérémence (68km) - Evolène (37km).

Spectators information
Spectators are invited to travel to the Verbier and Grimentz venues by public transport. The start area in Verbier and the finish area in Grimentz are freely accessible. It is possible to reach the Grand Raid BCVS course by following the signs so as not to disturb the participants. It is forbidden to cycle or walk the official route on race day.
