Access & Transport in Crans-Montana.

One year before the 2025 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Valais, Crans-Montana will host a UCI Mountainbike World Series event with two disciplines on the programme: Short Track and Cross-Country. These competitions will see the world's best athletes take on the demanding course between the centre of Crans-Montana and Lake Chermignon.

By public transportation

The destination is well served from the Sierre and Sion SBB stations.Crans-Montana can be reached easily from Sierre in just 13 minutes by funicular or regional bus. You can also easily reach the destination from Sion SBB station by PostBus.Once in Crans-Montana, you can get around free of charge thanks to our extensive network of shuttles, which run every day.

By bike

From the plain
The destination also offers an optimised transport system for cyclists: the 3 bus lines and the funicular railway transport bicycles from the plain to the plateau.

At the station
Free access to the routes, either by ski lift or on foot/by bike along the route*.* It is strictly forbidden to use the official routes on race day.

Accessibility

People with reduced mobility will be able to use the start/finish area in the resort of Crans-Montana.
